Chat Agent Duties and Responsibilities

As a Live Chat Agent Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Using online chat and messaging services to interact with clients, answering questions, giving advice, and extending support.
  • Helping clients navigate our offerings by responding to their inquiries, worries, and technical problems.
  • Troubleshooting and fixing client issues, elevating complicated ones to higher support levels as needed.
  • Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and good customer service manners in every encounter.
  • Keeping track of all communications with customers, including the type of questions asked, the answers given, and any actions taken in response.
  • Meeting or surpassing performance benchmarks for chat volume, customer satisfaction ratings, and response times.
  • Maintaining current product knowledge and business policies to give customers accurate and relevant information.
  • Working together with coworkers and other departments to guarantee reliable and efficient client service.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

* Meet or exceed chat volume targets

  • Achieve high customer satisfaction ratings (95% or higher)
  • Respond to customer inquiries within 30 seconds or less
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product knowledge and business policies

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful as a Live Chat Agent Specialist at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of grammar and spelling
  • Previous customer service or chat support experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly and logically
  • Proficiency in using computers and familiarity with chat and messaging platforms
  • Ability to multitask effectively and handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously
  • Empathy, patience, and a customer-focused attitude
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required
