Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Chat Moderator to join our remote team on a part-time basis. As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for monitoring and managing user interactions on our Discord server, enforcing community guidelines, and resolving conflicts in a fair and respectful manner. If you're passionate about community building, conflict resolution, and customer service, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team that values equality, diversity, and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:

* Moderate user interactions on our Discord server, ensuring that all conversations adhere to our community guidelines and rules

  • Delete messages that violate our community guidelines, ban users with repeat offenses, and mute users who have violated our rules
  • Investigate reports made by users about potential rule violations, and take necessary actions to resolve the issue
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective community management strategies
  • Provide excellent customer service to users, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest community management trends, tools, and best practices to ensure that our community remains safe and engaging

Qualifications:

* Must be at least 18 years old

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Familiarity with Discord and community management tools
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in community management, customer service, or a related field

  • Familiarity with arenaflex's mission, values, and community guidelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with conflict resolution, mediation, or a related field

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:
