Primary Duties & Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Heavy phone contact with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties to provide exceptional customer service and support
- Processing policyholder requests from correspondence, phone calls, and emails in a timely and efficient manner
- Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintaining department standards for number of calls, average handle time, and time management to ensure optimal performance
- Providing excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills to effectively resolve customer inquiries and issues
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Demonstrating strong alpha and number recognition skills, as well as mathematical abilities, to accurately process customer requests
- Utilizing basic PC skills to navigate our systems and tools efficiently
- Handling high-stress situations calmly and with tact and professionalism to provide a positive customer experience
- Making logical conclusions and decisions to resolve customer issues and improve customer satisfaction
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred
- At least one year of office experience, with telecommunications experience a plus
- A strong background in life and health insurance, with knowledge of insurance operations desired
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze situations and make logical conclusions
- Regular and predictable attendance required

- Heavy phone and PC usage
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Frequently reaching above shoulder level
- Working in a fast-paced environment
