Backend Software Engineer Intern
GoFundMe is the world’s most powerful community for good, dedicated to helping people help each other. The Backend Software Engineer Intern will collaborate with a team to enhance the GoFundMe platform, deliver high-quality code, and seek opportunities for organizational improvement.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of engineers, product management and external partners to identify and implement improvements and new features for the GoFundMe Platform
- Deliver code that is well-documented, tested, and operable
- Contribute to the growth of the organization by looking for opportunities to improve efficiency, processes and productivity
- Take ownership over the completion and quality of your tasks and project while incorporating guidance from your mentor, manager, and peers
Skills
- Comfortable writing code
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with languages including Java, Python, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and/or Javascript
- Experience working in an Agile environment
