Key Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading and coaching a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure the successful delivery of data projects
- Developing and implementing modern data practices through design reviews and code audits
- Designing and implementing data systems, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines
- Growing and maintaining high-quality data engineering practices, including data modeling, data validation, and data quality
- Developing and implementing data visualization tools and dashboards to support business decision-making
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes
- Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and science, and evaluating their relevance to arenaflex's business needs
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 15+ years of active experience in data engineering and science roles
- 5+ years of experience in leadership or senior roles, demonstrating the ability to guide and lead a team
- 5+ years of experience working with cloud technologies, including ADLS, Azure Databricks, AWS, and other large data innovations
- Advanced proficiency in data engineering tools, languages, and frameworks, including SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools
- Experience working with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, to design and implement scalable and efficient data engineering solutions
- Strong understanding of Lakehouse design principles, including the integration of data lakes and data warehouses
- High-level SQL skills, with a strong understanding of database systems and business data modeling
- Experience managing high-volume and high-speed data streams, and designing systems that can handle the demands of real-time or near-real-time analysis
- Experience in leading data engineering projects, including planning, execution, and delivery
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, adapt to emerging technologies, and implement industry best practices
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Data Science, or related technical discipline
- Relevant industry certifications
- Experience in retail, manufacturing, e-commerce, or supply chain industries
Compensation and Benefits
arenaflex offers a comprehensive compensation package, including:
- Salary range: $160,000 - $230,000
- Bonus and restricted stock unit eligibility
