Job Summary

The Remote Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for transferring data from various sources into our systems, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining the integrity of the information. Key Responsibilities

  • Transferring data from paper formats, recordings, or other sources into our databases, records, and files using a personal computer
  • Entering data into appropriate fields, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Handling numerical data, creating spreadsheets, and organizing large datasets
  • Curating data directly from speech or interviews, and updating databases or records with new information as it becomes available
  • Correcting and modifying inaccurate files and records, and complying with security backups and regular checks to ensure data is saved and stored properly
  • Summarizing data for standardized reports, and viewing and verifying confidential or private customer/client information while protecting their identities
  • Verifying data by correctly checking and comparing source documentation, and organizing paper formats, paper backups, and material source files as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Accurate and precise attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Skilled knowledge in generating process documentation, and the ability to assist team members when needed to accomplish team goals
  • Fast and accurate typing skills, with the ability to speak confidently, clearly, and professionally for voice recording data
  • Understanding of data confidentiality principles, and the ability to follow them to the letter
  • High school diploma, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree in business, administration, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • Prior experience handling data entry responsibilities or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to learn and grow with arenaflex
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision, with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of touch typing system (preferred)
