As a Workflow Systems Analyst in our Platform Services & Operations group, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of arenaflex's workflow tooling. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders. Your expertise in data analysis, visualization, and workflow optimization will help us drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities
As a Workflow Systems Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
- Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards that provide key metrics and insights to stakeholders, helping them make informed decisions and drive business outcomes.
- Analysis and Visualization: Work with data scientists and engineers to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and patterns, and develop visualizations that communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Iterative Dashboard Refinement: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, refine dashboard designs, and improve the overall user experience.
- Workflow Characterization: Profile complex workflows, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize business processes.
- Insights and Recommendations: Develop actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis, and work with stakeholders to implement changes that drive business outcomes.
- Change Agent: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive change and implement process improvements, leveraging your expertise in data analysis and workflow optimization.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
3+ years of experience
as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst, with a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and workflow optimization.
Solid understanding
of analytics, including visualization, statistics, and the Analytics Maturity Curve (Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, Prescriptive).
Advanced Tableau developer
skills, with experience in developing interactive dashboards and visualizations.
Capable SQL skills
, with expertise in aggregation, nested queries, and data inspection/validation.
B.S. in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
, with a strong foundation in data analysis, statistics, and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
Preferred Skills
While not required, the following skills are highly desirable:
Familiarity with software development analytics
, including CICD, DORA metrics, and LEAN software development.
Experience in software development
, including data pipeline construction, merging, and code transport.
Product ownership
, with experience in driving efforts and generating concrete results through analytics.
Project management
