Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team and play a critical role in managing our digital database. As a key member of our data management team, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data from paper documents into our computer systems, ensuring seamless data access and preservation. Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners
  • Typing in data provided directly from customers with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes, ensuring data integrity and consistency
  • Verifying data by comparing it to source documents, ensuring accuracy and reliability
  • Updating existing data to reflect changes and updates
  • Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested by team members or customers
  • Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation and security
  • Sorting and organizing paperwork after entering data to maintain a clutter-free and efficient workspace

Requirements and Skills

To succeed as a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk, with a strong track record of accuracy and efficiency
  • Fast typing skills, with a strong preference for touch typing
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets, including MS Office Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Basic understanding of databases and data management principles
  • Good command of English, both oral and written, with excellent customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail, with a keen eye for accuracy and precision

Sector and Role

This role is part of our Customer Service team, and you'll be working closely with our data management team to ensure seamless data access and preservation. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for managing other team members and contributing to our mission of providing exceptional customer experiences.
