Utilities Right of Way Agent - Chillicothe, OH

The Utilities Right of Way Agent will acquire Right-of-Way rights for distribution and electrical transmission projects, support project teams, and communicate with property owners regarding acquisitions.
Responsibilities
- Acquire Right-of-Way rights for distribution and electrical transmission and distribution line projects in accordance with project guidelines and regulations
- Support the Project Manager (PM) and project team members
- Prepare real estate documents
- Conduct basic property research for ownership and boundary information
- Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding right of way acquisition
- Perform general administrative tasks
Skills
- Minimum of one (1) year of Right of Way Acquisition experience
- Active Ohio Notary OR the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems
- Valid Driver's License
- Works efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines
- Can prioritize and balance multiple tasks
- Demonstrates strong organization and planning skills
- Is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced administrative setting
- Provides strong customer service experience
- Can adapt to new systems and software environments
