[Remote] Fraud Prevention Advisor, Remote

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Desjardins is a financial services cooperative that is committed to protecting its members and clients from fraud. As a Fraud Prevention Advisor, you will play a crucial role in detecting and combating suspicious activities, advising victims of fraud, and ensuring service quality in accordance with organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile and analyze the type and nature of suspicious transactions
• Advise members and clients who are victims of fraud on preventive measures
• Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current and potential needs
• Identify operational risks and continuously help improve the Desjardins Group Security Office’s activities
• Assist and support members and clients who are victims of various scams, ensuring they are satisfied with the support received and have an understanding of fraud

Skills

• General college diploma in a related field
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience
• Knowledge of French is required
• Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
• Available to come to the office occasionally during training and once a month afterwards
• Available to work Monday to Sunday between 7:00 a.m. and midnight
• Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
