In Store Pricing Analyst
Maverik, Inc. offers adventures and is seeking an In-Store Pricing Analyst 1 to enhance customer value through competitive pricing strategies. This role involves analyzing data to support pricing strategies that drive sales and profitability across stores.
Responsibilities
- Identify and champion pricing opportunities that align with Maverik’s business objectives
- Collaborate with Category Management to understand category roles, objectives, and market trends
- Analyze sales and performance data to support revenue and gross profit goals
- Monitor and report on in-store revenue and profit performance
- Partner with Pricing Systems to ensure timely and accurate execution of price changes
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to cross-functional partners
Skills
- 1+ years of experience in data analytics, financial analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
- Introductory knowledge of SQL and R or Python for data querying or analysis
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience with Google Looker preferred
- A bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a natural tendency toward logical reasoning and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data insights for diverse audiences

- Experience in retail pricing, category management, or business strategy
- Familiarity with data visualization tools or business intelligence platforms
