The Licensing Engineer will support the deployment of advanced nuclear technology and contribute to the licensing and regulatory strategy for new nuclear plant development.

Responsibilities

  • Support more senior engineering personnel in development efforts creating licensing documents for submittal to Westinghouse customers and regulatory agencies, focused on new plant technologies
  • Collaborate with variety of engineering teams to create licensing inputs
  • Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory meetings to present technical materials
  • Communicate nature and status of work performed to appropriate technical lead and management
  • Perform work within established scope, budgetary and schedule requirements

Skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering Required (Typically Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Nuclear)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • New Graduate Engineers encouraged to apply
  • Microsoft Product skill sets required at an advanced level- so a strong ability to work within WORD and EXCEL
  • Excellent Communication skills are required as teammates and specialist are across the country and the world
  • Ability to travel within US and Globally (
