Job Overview

The Data Entry Assistant will be responsible for collecting information from employees, other departments, and clients, and capturing data promptly to ensure that our business databases are up-to-date. The ideal candidate will be focused, diligent, energetic, and possess excellent people skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Gathering invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent data and correcting errors to optimize swift and accurate capturing
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering and updating information into relevant databases
  • Ensuring data is backed up and informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered
  • Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval
  • Handling additional duties from time to time, as required

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or a related role
  • Good command of English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new software and systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed, with proficient touch-typing skills
