About the Internship

We are seeking an experienced data analyst intern to join our Netfx Crew during the summer of 2024. Netfx is a cutting-edge VFX initiative that optimizes the pairing of skills to responsibilities to execute a high volume of global productions. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in facilitating departmental wishes and participating in a program that offers training and development to equip you with the skills necessary to become a strong candidate for future entry-level positions in business analytics.

Responsibilities

As a data analyst intern, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting a comprehensive analysis of current transactional, digital marketplaces
• Studying and examining industry developments and competitive landscapes for global marketplaces
• Providing insights and recommendations based on market analysis to aid strategic decision-making
• Collaborating with senior team members to plot and refine aggressive pricing strategies
• Helping to develop financial models to evaluate business performance and assess capability situations
• Contributing to forecasting and budgeting procedures to support financial planning efforts
• Collaborating with teams across departments to recognize business opportunities
• Participating in meetings and presentations to share findings and recommendations

Requirements

To be considered for this internship, you should have:

• An interest in working within the entertainment industry
• A passion for global marketplace evaluation and platform (customer/setter) experience
• The ability to live in the L. location during the internship (relocation and housing guide will be provided, if applicable)
• Basic knowledge of computers and familiarity with software programs such as Google Suite (e.g., Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel)
• Collaborative and quick-paced work environment skills
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently
• Attention to detail and sound judgment
