Overview

Job Title: R&D Associate Manager Employer: PepsiCo, Inc. Location: 100 E Stevens Ave, Valhalla, NY 10595

Responsibilities

Lead the prototyping, designing, developing & publishing of Insights, using Power BI Reports and other visualization tools. Develop Power BI Data models and recommend best practices for report creation and visualizations. Implement security in reports and dashboards. Integrate Dashboards into applications using Embedded Analytics. Create engaging graphic designs and themes used in visualizations, executing reporting/dashboards, websites and presentations, using graphic design UI/UX software and tools. Troubleshoot reporting issues and tune report performance. Study, analyze and understand business requirements in context to business intelligence. Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights. Ensure re-use through consumption and expansion of shared platform technology assets. Ensure quality through use of manual and automated controls. Think independently to solve difficult data problems. Mentor & coach more junior Insights developers. Ensure agile/scrum practices are followed during the development process. Develop and recommend innovative solutions and approaches to solving business and technical problems. Make essential technical and strategic changes to improvise present business intelligence systems. Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, models. Telecommuting permitted 40%: Work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the PepsiCo, Inc. office in Valhalla, NY. #LI-DNI

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or related role OR Master's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems or a related field and one (1) year of experience in job offered or related role. Must have three (3) years' experience (or 1 with Master's) with: Business Intelligence tools, Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS, Using business intelligence tools to develop reports and dashboards; Graphic Design tools like Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop); Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL); Performing root cause analysis on internal and external data; Working in Agile development environment with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira; Developing Power BI or Tableau Data models and recommending best practices for report creation and visualizations; and Troubleshooting reporting issues and tuning report performance. 10% Domestic travel to Dallas and international travel to Ireland required Salary: $139,506 - $155,000 USD/ year QUALIFIED APPLICANTS: Visit http://www.pepsicojobs.com and search req ID # 417025 or job title.
