We are seeking a deeply knowledgeable and strategic, Senior GTM Sales Engineer, Loans to be a critical leader & subject matter expert on our Go-to-Market team. As we launch and aggressively scale our new Loan Origination product, this role will be the definitive go-to for our company, providing deep industry credibility that will shape our product, guide our sales cycles, and ensure our strategic success. This is not a traditional sales role. You will be a strategic asset and a close partner to leadership, acting as the bridge between our product and the market. You'll use your expert knowledge of credit underwriting and the end-to-end loan origination process to empower our sales teams, validate our product roadmap, and build a strong partner ecosystem. Job Duties ● Strategic Deal Support: Serve as the definitive expert on credit underwriting and loan origination in late-stage sales cycles. You'll provide crucial credibility and detailed insights to help close key deals with sophisticated clients. ● Sales Enablement & GTM Strategy: Partner with our Sales, Sales Engineering, and Marketing teams to develop compelling training materials, technical documentation, and go-to-market messaging that resonates with leaders in the lending industry. ● Product Strategy & Validation: Collaborate closely with the Product team to validate the product roadmap, providing critical industry feedback and real-world insights to ensure we are building a best-in-class solution. ● Partner Ecosystem Development: Engage with and help onboard key partners within the lending ecosystem, ensuring they are well-equipped to work with our platform and drive mutual success. ● Regulatory Guidance: Advise internal teams on the evolving regulatory landscape, helping to shape our product and GTM strategy to ensure compliance and market fit. Requirements ● You have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in credit underwriting, loan origination, credit policy, or a related role within a bank, credit union, or lending-focused fintech. ● You possess a deep, nuanced understanding of the end-to-end loan lifecycle, from application and processing to underwriting, closing, and funding. Loan Origination is a world you know intimately. ● You are an exceptional communicator, with the proven ability to translate complex technical, financial, and regulatory concepts into clear, compelling language for both commercial and technical audiences. ● You are a strategic thinker with a passion for problem-solving and a desire to have a major impact on a growing business. ● You are comfortable in a client-facing role, able to command a room and build trust with senior executives and technical stakeholders alike. Preferred ● Experience working for a B2B fintech or software company in a similar SME, product marketing, or sales engineering capacity. ● Experience with a variety of Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
