Key Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate travel accounts, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and drive business growth
  • Collaborating with our sales, marketing, and customer service teams to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets
  • Developing and executing business development plans, including marketing and co-op advertising initiatives, to drive revenue growth and increase brand awareness
  • Conducting sales calls with key decision-makers to promote arenaflex's products and services, identify new business opportunities, and negotiate contracts
  • Analyzing customer needs, assessing performance, and developing strategic proposals to drive growth and meet business objectives
  • Creating and implementing time and territory management plans to optimize sales performance and achieve business goals
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand arenaflex's customer base

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, marketing, hospitality)
  • At least two years of experience in travel industry sales, account management, or a related field
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20% of the time)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

* Four-year degree from a four-year college or university (or equivalent work experience)

  • Knowledge of arenaflex's products, services, and reservation systems
  • Experience with CRM software and data analysis tools
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and revenue

Work Environment
