Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of data products and data warehouses, focusing on Happy Execution and Content Engagement data
• Design and develop scalable and efficient data warehousing solutions, building ETL pipelines in Big Data environments (cloud, on-prem, hybrid)
• Utilize our tech stack, including Hadoop, AWS, Snowflake, Spark, and Windstream, to develop and implement data solutions
• Collaborate with Data Product Managers, Data Architects, and Data Scientists to design, implement, and deliver successful data solutions
• Maintain detailed documentation of your work and changes to support data quality and data governance
• Ensure high operational efficiency and quality of your solutions to meet SLAs and support commitment to our clients (Data Science, Data Analysis teams)
• Be an active participant and advocate of agile/scrum practice to ensure safety and process improvements for your team

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong SQL skills and ability to write queries to extract data and build performant datasets
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems like Spark, Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and manage data
• Experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database technology (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Proficiency in data integration toolsets (e.g., Windstream) and writing and maintaining data pipelines
• Experience with data modeling procedures and data warehousing standard techniques and practices
• Good scripting skills, including Bash scripting and Python
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies
