Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a remote basis. As a key member of our administrative team, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in our systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual to contribute to the success of arenaflex.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Data Entry: Insert data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within time limits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Data Preparation: Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
  • Data Quality Control: Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check output to ensure accuracy.
  • Research and Verification: Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Data Program Techniques: Apply data program techniques and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate data entry.
  • Reporting and Storage: Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to ensure data security.
  • Document Management: Scan documents and print files as needed, maintaining accurate and organized records.
  • Confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and maintain the trust of our clients.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Respond to queries for information, access relevant files, and ensure proper use of working equipment, addressing any malfunctions promptly.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and performing other tasks as required.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven Data Entry Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in an administrative or office setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as experience with data programs and software.
  • Administrative Experience: Familiarity with administrative duties, including filing, record-keeping, and data management.
  • Equipment Familiarity: Experience using office equipment, such as fax machines and scanners.
  • Typing Speed and Accuracy: A high level of typing speed and accuracy, with the ability to maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to identify and correct errors.
  • Confidentiality: The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Organization Skills: Strong organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Education: A high school diploma is required; additional computer training or certification is an asset.
