Job Summary

As a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Specialist – Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing patient enrollment, and handling high-volume client requests. You'll work under direct supervision, adhering to state and government guidelines, and utilize arenaflex's pharmacy systems to gather patient and medication data. Your primary duties will include:

• Utilizing arenaflex's remedy information entry methods and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the appropriate system.
• Handling patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and entering refill orders for processing.
• Investigating to obtain missing medication data, deciphering clinical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolving all data entry-related exceptions.
• Handling correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and making outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis.
• Resolving External Exceptions by researching, gathering data, making amendments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual arrangement requirements.
• Providing support to pharmacists, both in-office and at other locations, and recognizing and reporting issues to senior-level staff as necessary.

Essential Capabilities

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess:

• Essential level computer skills, including:

+ Starting and closing the computer + Using the mouse to point and click + Starting and closing programs + Switching between programs + Saving files + Printing documents + Accessing data online

• Fundamental web search skills, including:

+ Opening a program + Writing in URLs in the correct field + Using a web search engine + Bookmarking a webpage + Navigating using back/forward/stop buttons + Completing forms online

• Transitional level keyboarding skills, including:

+ Typing at least 25 WPM + Typing by memory + Organizing reports

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Capabilities

While not required, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable:

• At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction.
• Transitional to advanced level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing documents.
• Familiarity with Spanish and English.
