Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Full Stack Data Architect, you'll be responsible for:

• Leading and assisting in the design of end-to-end data solutions, including data structure, data integration, data modeling, security, privacy, regulatory, performance, data governance, business intelligence, and more
• Providing technical oversight and guidance on data infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices
• Participating in and leading discovery sessions with key stakeholders to gather insights on business objectives, challenges, and requirements
• Presenting proposed solutions to technical forums and articulating design concepts to stakeholder groups
• Supporting answer delivery by providing insights to software development teams and project managers, ensuring timely and successful project execution
• Collaborating with internal and external development teams to implement solutions, participate in challenge-related activities, and ensure high-quality delivery
• Creating answer architecture files that describe and explain answer attributes and related benefits
• Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies applicable to data solutions, identifying opportunities for continuous development of answer control methodologies
• Assisting in the identification and recommendation of suitable solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning alternatives, incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and overall cost of ownership

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of proven experience in designing and implementing current data architectures to support large-scale data solutions
• Expert knowledge of data styles to support architectures and data control ideas/methods, including ETL/ELT, Data Mesh, data lake, data lakehouse, data warehouse, data streaming, data virtualization, and more
• Strong knowledge of data modeling (dimensional, data vault, etc.) concepts and strategies based on established methodologies
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools, including Informatica, SSIS, Talend, DataStage, and requirements and best practices for ETL development frameworks
• Strong knowledge of data governance framework concepts and vendor structures
• Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, and more
• Strong knowledge of SQL and proven ability to use SQL to a wide range of business needs
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing ideas and data structures and architecture
• Proficient in building secure structures using encryption, access control, network security, and advanced data security
• Knowledge of MDM ideas and solutions
• Demonstrated experience deploying data solutions in Big Data environments
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
• Experience working in multidisciplinary, distributed, and collaborative environments

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• MBA, MS, or MA in Data Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Related expert certifications and/or education are considered an asset
• Exceptional innovative reasoning and design abilities to perform responsibilities and tasks efficiently
