Experienced Data Analyst – Statistical Modeling and Predictive Analytics Expert

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• Applying statistical modeling and predictive analytics techniques to uncover insights and actionable recommendations for business improvement
• Developing and implementing statistical and mathematical analyses to inform business decisions across multiple business functions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions to business problems
• Developing and maintaining advanced statistical models and predictive algorithms to assess future outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Applying analytical rigor and statistical techniques to analyze large datasets, using advanced statistical methods such as predictive modeling, customer profiling, segmentation analysis, survey design and evaluation, and data mining
• Developing and validating hypotheses using a range of advanced mathematical, statistical, clinical, and computational techniques, including probability models, machine learning, data mining, sample selection, data visualization, predictive analytics, data warehousing, artificial intelligence, and other advanced methods
• Documenting assigned tasks, including business objectives, data collection and processing, key methods, final algorithms, unique sets of results, and analytical metrics
• Assisting with the development of materials to present assignment findings to internal stakeholders
• Escalating issues and roadblocks as they arise
• Interacting with internal stakeholders and external partners to provide semi-regular data updates related to assigned tasks
• Presenting interpretation of findings to internal clients as needed

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering

• Strong knowledge of analytics, statistical, and mathematical concepts and techniques
• Experience with data analysis and interpretation, including the development and implementation of statistical models and predictive algorithms
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within the country and internationally)

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering

• Experience with advanced statistical methods, including machine learning, data mining, and predictive analytics
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques, including Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
• Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools, including SQL, Oracle, or similar tools
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
