Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced FP&A Examiner to join our team in the Kansas region. As a key member of our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, you'll be responsible for providing financial insights and analysis to support business decisions. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth, improving financial performance, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

As an FP&A Examiner, you'll have the following key responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports to support business decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership and management
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and sales teams
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 3+ years of experience in a financial planning and analysis role, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis
• Experience with financial planning and analysis software, such as Hyperion or Prophet
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial insights to senior leadership and management

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

• Experience working in a large public organization, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Knowledge of medical coverage industry terminology and concepts
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Experience with Ariba or other procurement software
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics, or equivalent experience
