Job Summary
We're looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to lead the development of our information pipelines and data centers for OpenAI. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in fueling our examinations, wellbeing frameworks, and product development. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our scientists and engineers to prepare new models and deliver them to clients. Key Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Configuring, building, and managing our information pipelines to ensure all client event data is consistently integrated into our data warehouse.
- Creating sanctioned datasets to track key product metrics, including customer growth, engagement, and revenue.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Data Science, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Research, to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
- Designing and implementing robust and issue-free frameworks for data ingestion and processing.
- Participating in data design and architecture decisions, bringing expertise and data to the table.
- Ensuring the security, integrity, and compliance of data according to industry and company guidelines.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in Data Engineering, such as Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with distributed processing technologies and frameworks, like Hadoop, Flink, and distributed storage systems (e.g., HDFS, S3).
- Familiarity with ETL schedulers like Apache Airflow, Dagster, or similar systems.
- Strong understanding of data storage and ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimize data storage code.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
