Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to the development of data-driven insights that inform business strategies. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and developing actionable recommendations to inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that data-driven insights are integrated into business strategies and that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.

Key Responsibilities

* Execute existing reporting and analytical obligations (30%)

• Use data analysis tools to create new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc requests (20%)
• Ensure the quality of work output by demonstrating a keen attention to detail (20%)
• Foster additional technical skills and domain expertise within the core functional team (20%)
• Present findings in easily understood ways, focusing on how the data analysis fits into the overall plan (10%)

This position reports to a Director This position has no Immediate Reports

Travel Requirements

Normally requires occasional travel under 10% of the time

Physical Requirements

Mostly spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. Occasionally there may be a need to move or lift light objects.

Working Conditions

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be rare and not surprising.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as software engineering, mathematics, computer science, or economics

• 3 years of work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

* Work experience with SQL Server, Teradata, or equivalent data set frameworks

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R
• Experience with data mining and machine learning techniques
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies
