Job Summary
As an Entry-Level Traveling Customer Trainer, you'll embark on a rewarding journey, traveling approximately 80% of the time to install and convert our software for customers. You'll work closely with dealership management to understand their needs, customize the system, and provide comprehensive training to key personnel. When not on the road, you'll support current customers, prepare for future trips, and conduct follow-ups from your home office.
Training and Development
Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role. You'll undergo a 2-3 month training period, which includes:
- Department observations to gain a deeper understanding of our software solutions
- Classroom instruction on product training and automotive dealership operations
- On-the-job training with a mentor to ensure a smooth transition
- Opportunities to visit car dealerships that already utilize our solutions, providing hands-on experience and valuable insights
Key Responsibilities
As an Entry-Level Traveling Customer Trainer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Traveling approximately 80% of the time to install and convert our software for customers
- Meeting with dealership management to understand their needs and customize the system
- Providing comprehensive training to key personnel on how to use our software solutions
- Supporting current customers, preparing for future trips, and conducting follow-ups from your home office
- Collaborating with experienced representatives to assist with customer set-up and implementation
- Focusing on one area of the software during product training and assisting with customer support
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel 80% of the time, with occasional overnight stays
- An outgoing, friendly personality with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
- Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing
