Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will play a vital role in our administrative team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing data entry tasks with high accuracy for accounts payable, purchase orders, equipment inventory, and confidential employee or departmental files.
  • Coping, collating, and preparing reports for mailings, meetings, and other correspondence, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Carrying out other related duties as assigned, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to support the team.
  • Working efficiently within a part-time schedule of 16 to 25 hours per week, managing your time effectively to meet deadlines and contribute to the team's goals.

Required Skills and Abilities

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • The ability to type at a speed of at least 50 words per minute, ensuring efficiency in data entry tasks.
  • Strong proofreading skills to maintain the high quality of our documents and communications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, allowing you to navigate our systems with ease.
  • A basic understanding of office equipment and how to operate it effectively.
  • Familiarity with clerical procedures and systems, including recordkeeping and filing, to keep our administrative tasks organized.
  • The ability to work independently, identifying and solving problems as they arise, and prioritizing your work to meet deadlines.
