Job Description

### Overview As a Customer Experience Ambassador at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for our customers. You'll be responsible for providing exceptional service, resolving customer issues, and modeling best practices to ensure a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Customer Experience

+ Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services + Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience + Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience

Operations

+ Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service + Recommend items for sale to customers and suggest trade-up and/or companion items + Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested + Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed + Maintain a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters and shelves + Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader

Asset Protection and Compliance

+ Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss + Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products)

Visual Merchandising

+ Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise + Complete resets and revisions as directed

Photo Services

+ Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine + Suggestively sell promotional photo products

Web Pick-up and Maintenance

+ Monitor orders in Picture Care Plus and fill orders (pick items) + Deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store + Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance ### Essential Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior work experience in a retail environment preferred

### Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with blithequark preferred
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) preferred

### Skills and Competencies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
• Familiarity with store systems and equipment
