HealthEquity is looking for a Security Operations Analyst II to join our dynamic Risk & Security Team—a converged program covering cybersecurity, physical security, privacy, fraud, enterprise risk, and incident management. This is your chance to be on the front lines of defense, working with cutting-edge tools and collaborating with a team that values innovation, growth, and impact. What you’ll be doing

• Work a four day work week Wednesday - Saturday MT from 9 AM to 7 PM
• Detect, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents across cyber, DLP, fraud, and privacy functions.
• Operate advanced monitoring and investigation tools.
• Perform malware analysis and study attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Improve detection rules and reduce false positives through purple team engagements.
• Document incidents, provide reports, and collaborate across teams.
• Mentor junior analysts and support insider threat and fraud prevention programs.
• Stay ahead of emerging threats and industry trends. What you will need to be successful
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–3 years in information security operations with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to triage and respond independently to alerts.
• Preferred certifications: CHFI, SANS GIAC, ECIH, CEH, Security+, Network+.
• A passion for learning and adapting in a fast-changing environment. #LI-Remote

This is a remote position. Salary Range $75,500.00 To $84,000.00/year Benefits & Perks The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
