The Role As our Senior Frontend Engineer, you work remotely with our Head of Engineering and take ownership from day one by working independently while being an effective communicator. With your extensive frontend development experience while pioneering our AI-first development approach, you are leveraging AI coding tools strategically to ensure our interfaces are both functional and visually appealing. In this strategic, oversight, and creative role, you act as a standalone engineer to contribute to the success of our company. By taking responsibility and contributing your ideas, you bring our products to the next level while demonstrating how AI tools can multiply developer productivity. The Impact you make in this role

• Develop React/TypeScript applications using AI tools strategically to deliver robust, scalable frontend features that meet business requirements and user needs
• Implement responsive designs using Tailwind CSS with AI assistance to ensure consistent UI/UX across all devices and browsers
• Provide code reviews and technical guidance to maintain high code quality standards and foster team knowledge sharing
• Optimize frontend performance through code splitting, lazy loading, and caching strategies to achieve fast page load times
• Create basic wireframes and mockups when needed to quickly visualize and validate UI concepts before implementation
• Maintain and enhance our design system using AI tools to generate consistent components and identify improvement opportunities
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions that enable our team to scale and deliver features more efficiently
• Participate in sprint planning and estimation to provide accurate technical assessments and realistic project timelines

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience at expert-level
• Proven experience using AI coding tools regularly in production environments
• Strong prompt engineering skills and ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code for quality, security, and performance

• Experience with modern frontend tooling (testing frameworks, build tools) and responsive design patterns
• Excellent communication skills with ability to document workflows and share knowledge effectively

Our salary range varies based on location, qualifications, and experience.
