About Our Customer Experience Team

Our Customer Experience team is the heartbeat of blithequark, directly supporting our customers at every stage of their journey. As a Customer Experience Associate, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional support, identifying customer trends, collecting product feedback, and triaging software bugs. Your insights will inform product and policy improvements, ensuring that blithequark remains an effortless component of our customers' work lives.

  • Collaborated with product, design, and engineering teams to address customer pain points and drive positive change

Job Responsibilities

As a Customer Experience Associate, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting customers via phone, chat, and email channels during blithequark's support business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm ET)
  • Maintaining our customer-facing Help Center, creating and improving articles to ensure customers have the information they need
  • Representing the Voice of Customer to our product, engineering, design, and business teams, ensuring customer needs are top of mind
  • Identifying gaps in internal processes and developing improvements
  • Communicating customer feedback and support trends to the rest of the company

Requirements for Success

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience providing outstanding customer support in a tech or startup environment
  • Experience with common customer experience platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce, Intercom)
  • An aptitude for working with customers over the phone and keeping conversations productive
  • Comfort working remotely and experience with distributed teams across different time zones
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on empathy and problem-solving
  • An interest in identifying patterns in customer conversations and bringing constructive feedback to product and/or engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • First-hand experience as a freelancer, gig worker, side-hustler, or self-employed individual
  • A basic understanding of banking, personal finance, and/or taxes
