Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for:

• Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
• Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions
• Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
• Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items
• Registering customer purchases, collecting cash and distributing change as requested, processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
• Maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters and shelves, and performing duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager

Essential Qualifications

* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)

• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification a plus
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, pharmacists, and other team members

Preferred Qualifications

* Six months of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a pharmacy setting

• Prior work experience with blithequark a plus
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy systems and software
• Knowledge of store inventory control and management principles
• PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification through our designated training program

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, pharmacists, and other team members
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues and answer questions in a timely and professional manner
