Key Responsibilities

As an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you will be responsible for providing virtual customer service to our clients, handling inbound and outbound calls, and delivering high-quality solutions to customer inquiries. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting inbound and outbound customer service calls with customers
  • Creatively problem-solving to resolve customer issues
  • Quickly assessing customer needs and providing sound solutions
  • Providing a high-level of customer service
  • Documenting details of all calls and customer interactions
  • Managing through multiple systems, programs, and screens simultaneously

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Basic typing skills
  • Strong customer service and written skills
  • Comfortable empathizing and remaining patient with difficult callers
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

As an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you will be responsible for your own tax obligations and will submit invoices for completed services. Our programs have varying pay structures, but most programs pay for time spent talking on the phone and assisting callers. You may also receive performance-based pay or other incentives.

Application and Certification Process

To become an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you will need to complete the following steps:

  • Complete an application to join blithequark Nation, which includes passing a background/credit check
  • Pay a $45 processing fee directly to our vendor
  • Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement
  • Complete a W9 form
  • Opportunities that you choose may have additional requirements, including certification specific to a program

Program Metrics Requirements

Some programs may require Independent Contractors to provide services above posted minimum standards to maintain eligibility. These requirements will be clearly outlined in the program details.

Availability

As an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule, working in 30-minute blocks. You will be able to dictate when and how often you commit to servicing our clients, with the potential to earn higher pay for increased availability.
