Job Overview

As a remote medical call center customer support specialist with blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and patient support. Your primary responsibilities will include answering inbound calls, verifying patient information, and assisting patients with their concerns regarding their prescription benefits. You will also be responsible for gathering and reviewing patient billing and medical information, operating according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program, and adhering to all company-required KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and patient support in a fast-paced environment
  • Verify patient information and answer inbound calls, with potential outbound calls to assist patients with their concerns
  • Gather and review patient billing and medical information, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Operate according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program, adhering to HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
  • Utilize basic technical troubleshooting skills to resolve common remote work issues
  • Log in and work full scheduled shifts without interruptions, maintaining a private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have at least 1 year of recent call center experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is also required. Additionally, you should have:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and patient privacy practices (a plus, but not required)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Basic technical troubleshooting skills for common remote work issues
  • High-speed internet with a wired connection (mobile hotspots are not accepted)
  • A private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace

Important Notes

  • Candidates must be able to pick up equipment in Irving, TX
  • Must be able to work any 8-hour shift between 8am-9pm EST, Monday-Friday
  • Start date is projected for October 2025
