Job Overview

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and patient support to our clients. You will be responsible for verifying patient information, answering inbound calls, and performing outbound calls to assist patients with their concerns regarding their prescription benefits. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide excellent customer service and patient support via phone, email, or chat

  • Verify patient information and gather and review patient billing and medical information
  • Answer inbound calls and perform outbound calls to assist patients with their concerns regarding their prescription benefits
  • Operate according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications:

* 1 year or more of recent call center experience (no exceptions)

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic technical troubleshooting skills for common remote work issues
  • High-speed internet with a wired connection (mobile hotspots not accepted)
  • Private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace
  • Ability to log in and work full scheduled shifts without interruptions

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and patient privacy practices

  • Experience working in a healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
