Clearance: Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. Job Description: Blake Willson Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our growing team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in evaluating audit procedures, implementing corrective actions, and supporting the continuous improvement of audit readiness efforts. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and federal clients to address audit deficiencies, optimize financial management practices, and contribute to the overall success of our financial improvement initiatives. In this position, your job duties will include, but are not limited to: Collaborate with audit and finance teams to assess and improve existing audit processes and methodologies. Analyze audit findings to identify trends, root causes, and areas for remediation. Support modernization efforts in financial management through process reengineering and the adoption of innovative technologies. Conduct audit support and remediation activities, including data reconciliation, internal control evaluations, and development of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs). Ensure compliance with DoD financial policies, GAAP, SFFAS, FFMIA, FMFIA, and other relevant laws and regulations. Assist in the documentation and implementation of corrective actions to resolve audit issues and strengthen internal controls. Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in auditing and financial compliance. Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. 4+ years of financial management experience. Desired Skills: CGFM, CDFM, CIA, CISA, ITIL, SAFe, or other relevant professional certifications are desired. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit-related software/tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team environment. At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
