Key Responsibilities

As an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you'll be responsible for providing virtual customer service to our clients' customers. This will involve:

  • Conducting inbound and outbound customer service calls with customers
  • Creatively problem-solving to resolve customer issues
  • Quickly assessing customer needs and providing sound solutions
  • Providing a high-level of customer service
  • Documenting details of all calls and customer interactions
  • Managing through multiple systems, programs, and screens simultaneously

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • Basic typing skills and computer literacy
  • Strong customer service and written skills
  • Comfortable empathizing and remaining patient with difficult callers

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience handling inbound and outbound calls

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

As an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you'll be responsible for your own tax obligations and expenses. However, you'll have the opportunity to earn a competitive income based on your performance and the number of calls you complete. Our programs have varying pay structures, but most pay for time spent talking on the phone and assisting callers. You may also receive performance-based pay or other incentives.

Application and Certification Process

To become an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you'll need to:

  • Complete an application to Join blithequark Nation, which includes passing a background/credit check
  • Pay a $45 processing fee directly to our vendor
  • Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement
  • Complete a W9 form
  • Opportunities that you choose may have additional requirements, including certification specific to a program

Program Metrics Requirements

Some programs may require Independent Contractors to provide services above posted minimum standards to maintain eligibility. These requirements will be clearly outlined in the program details.

Availability

As an Independent Contractor, you'll have the flexibility to choose your own schedule by self-scheduling in 30-minute blocks. You'll be able to dictate when and how often you commit to servicing our clients, with the potential to earn higher income based on your availability.
