Responsibilities

As an Experienced Document Specialist / Closing Specialist - Data Entry & Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Researching accounts utilizing several programs to ensure database accuracy and maintaining the integrity of our data
  • Processing documents in preparation for homeowners selling their home, including reviewing and verifying information for accuracy
  • Registering new homeowners in our system, ensuring seamless onboarding and a smooth customer experience
  • Compiling records for processing, including data entry and document scanning
  • Performing data-entry tasks within industry-specific software and Excel, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Processing invoices and payments, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions
  • Scanning and assigning documents, maintaining a secure and organized digital archive
  • Providing exceptional customer service to homeowners and vendors over the phone, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A high degree of attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision
  • The ability to handle a large volume of data entry with accuracy and efficiency
  • Accurate alpha-numeric data entry skills and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
  • Proficient computer skills, including Excel and Word, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise information to customers and colleagues
  • The ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, previous experience with real estate titles, mortgage, or real estate closings processes would be an asset in this role. If you have a background in these areas, you will be well-positioned to make a significant impact in this position.
