As a Remote Director, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and executing live remote game broadcasts, working closely with school and college sports production offices, producers, and technical teams. Job Summary and Key Responsibilities The Remote Director will be responsible for leading the technical team during live remote game broadcasts, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in live sports broadcasting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance to schools on TV production roles and best practices
• Liaise with school production partners to provide timely feedback on student-produced content
• Visit school production partner grounds to assess equipment, discuss industry-standard production procedures, and provide guidance to administrative staff
• Design, coordinate, and execute live remote game broadcasts, documenting assigned events
• Make on-the-spot decisions on camera shots, sound, and transmission coverage plans
• Work with producers and technical teams to determine camera placement, capture desired shots, and execute live-to-tape builds
• Coordinate with technical teams and consultants to ensure seamless integration of all broadcast elements
• Conduct research on teams, players, storylines, and trends to stay informed on assigned games
• Provide guidance to live talent before and during broadcasts
• Make on-the-spot adjustments to coverage plans as needed
• Troubleshoot technical issues during live remote games
• Ensure accurate insertion of plugs and promotions during broadcasts
• Participate in the development of concepts and content to engage viewers and increase market penetration
• Communicate with external partners, such as talent and production companies, to secure necessary services and resources

Essential and Preferred Qualifications Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of live game coordination processes
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to team members during live broadcasts
• Familiarity with technical equipment used in live remote game coordination
• Strong live remote game coordination skills
• Knowledge of sports history and trends

Preferred Qualifications:
