UI/UX Web Designer - Part time

VODA.ai is seeking a remote UI/UX Designer to lead the creative direction and user experience of our website on a part-time contract basis. This is a contractor role with flexible hours that may vary week to week depending on project needs. While the workload may reach up to 50% of a full-time schedule, time commitments will be set based on agreed-upon tasks. You will drive the creative direction and execution of our web experience – developing concepts, information structures, and high-fidelity designs that elevate VODA.ai's brand. You’ll bring forward original ideas, shape the vision, and fully build out the content needed to make that vision real. Day-to-day work may include creating wireframes, mockups, and design systems, developing information architectures, collaborating with developers during implementation, and presenting design directions to leadership for feedback and alignment – while ensuring all graphics are optimised for speed, responsiveness, and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in graphic design for web, ideally supporting B2B or B2G organisations.
• Proven ability to design intuitive user experiences, including wireframes, user flows, and information hierarchies.
• Strong experience designing for modern web environments, including responsive layouts, typography for web, and accessibility best practices.
• Expert in Figma and expertise in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools used for web and digital content creation.
• Ability to design engaging digital assets, including banners, hero images, infographics, and light‑motion design suitable for the web.
• Experience working with brand guidelines and extending visual systems consistently across digital touchpoints.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong web design capabilities, including websites and ideally landing pages, as well as web-optimised content. Other digital content is considered a plus.
