About the Role: We are seeking an exceptional Senior Principal Dev Ops Architect to join Crowd Strike's engineering team. This role requires a seasoned professional who can architect, implement, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure solutions while maintaining the highest security standards for our cybersecurity platform serving millions of endpoints globally. What You'll Do:
- Infrastructure Architecture & Automation
- Design and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and multi-cloud environments
- Architect single-click deployment automation for complex SaaS platforms
- Lead migration initiatives from legacy systems to modern container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Develop comprehensive Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation) strategies
- Dev Ops & Platform Engineering
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting rapid, secure software delivery
- Implement Git Ops methodologies and Dev Sec Ops best practices
- Architect observability solutions using modern monitoring and logging platforms
- Manage container orchestration platforms (EKS, GKE) at enterprise scale
- Mentor senior engineering staff and drive architectural decisions
- Lead cross-functional architecture councils and technical initiatives
- Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions
Security & Compliance:
- Integrate security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, container scanning) into development workflows
- Implement security-first infrastructure designs aligned with cybersecurity industry standards
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Leadership & Collaboration
What You'll Need:
- 10+ years of Dev Ops/Infrastructure engineering experience
- Expert-level experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code
- Proven track record architecting solutions for high-scale SaaS platforms
- Strong background in automation, CI/CD, and observability platforms
- Experience with security tools and Dev Sec Ops practices
- Patent holder or demonstrated innovation in technology solutions
- Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Experience in cybersecurity or security-focused technology companies
- Multi-cloud architecture experience (AWS, GCP)
- Leadership experience managing technical teams and cross-functional initiatives
- Background in storage systems, networking protocols, and distributed systems
