A bit about us: Our global nonprofit is seeking a talented and experienced Finance Grants Manager to join its growing team! This is a remote position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organization. As a Finance Grants Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the grant process, including financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all grants are managed effectively and efficiently.   • Manage all aspects of the grant process, including financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with grantors and funding agencies
  • Ensure compliance with all grant requirements and regulations, including USAID GAAP and IFRS
  • Develop and maintain grant budgets and financial reports
  • Work closely with program staff to ensure that grant activities are implemented effectively and efficiently
  • Monitor and track grant expenditures and ensure that all expenses are eligible and allowable
  • Participate in the development and implementation of grant proposals and budgets
  • Provide guidance and support to program staff on grant-related financial matters
  • Prepare and submit grant reports to funders and stakeholders
  • Ensure that all grant-related documentation is maintained and organized

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in grant accounting and financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience managing grants in a nonprofit setting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial management software
