About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic team as a Customer Service Excellence Representative - JetBlue Airport Operations Crew Member. This is an exciting Remote opportunity with an immediate start, offering a competitive salary and a chance to be part of a renowned airline.

Key Responsibilities

Verify Customers' personal identification and ensure compliance with security regulations Tag, lift, and handle Customer luggage with care and efficiency Announce flight arrivals, departures, and pre-boarding information via the public address system Communicate effectively with Customers to keep them informed and address their needs Offer ancillary products and services to enhance the Customer experience, such as even more speed and even more space Coordinate with coworkers and other departments to ensure seamless handling of Customers Help prepare the aircraft cabin for Customer boarding and departure, including cleaning and maintaining the cabin Operate airport equipment, such as customer enplaning/deplaning equipment, jet bridges, and Turbo ways Assist Customers with special needs, providing personalized support and care Perform and rotate through various Airport Operations related functions, including gate and ticket counter duties Other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma At least 18 years old One (1) year of customer service or sales experience, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering excellent customer experiences Strong interpersonal and listening skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with Customers and colleagues Complete fluency in written and spoken English The ability to successfully complete a customer service assessment Adherence to JetBlue Uniform Policy Manual Standards Flexibility to travel and/or work variable hours, including holidays and weekends Experience using a mouse, computer, keyboard, and basic word processing, email, and office applications The ability to use handheld radios and microphones to communicate with operations and make terminal announcements The ability to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge Experience performing under pressure and within fixed time constraints Depending on location, possession and maintenance of a valid Driver License and a driving record that meets JetBlue Airways' insurance standards Depending on location, acquisition and maintenance of a United States Customs Clearance Availability for occasional overnight travel (10%) Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located Authorization to work in the US, with no visa sponsorship available Pass a pre-employment drug test Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Two (2) years of customer service, volunteer experience, or sales experience Knowledge of customer service principles and practices Experience working with various forms of payment (cash, credit cards, travelers checks, etc.) Previous airline experience Bilingual skills What We Offer At JetBlue, we're committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and development.
