Job Description

At Montu, we’re building one of Australia’s most impactful healthcare companies — transforming access to alternative medicine and raising the standard of patient care. To do this well, we need a world-class approach to compliance and risk.

We’re looking for a Senior Compliance Specialist to join our Risk & Compliance team. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, this role is central to strengthening Montu’s compliance framework and embedding a culture of integrity and accountability across the business.

What you’ll do

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business on compliance obligations and risks.
  • Represent the compliance function in governance committees, projects, and initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve compliance frameworks, policies, and training.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across the organisation.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and support the business in assessing impact.
  • Lead and support internal compliance investigations, reporting, and monitoring programs.
  • Partner with regulators and stakeholders to ensure transparency and trust.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years in senior compliance roles within large or highly regulated organisations.
  • Experience developing and implementing compliance programs across multiple domains.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and regulatory expectations.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and communicate with clarity.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in legal, risk, compliance, or a related discipline.

Additional Information

You’ll be joining a high-performing, fast-paced team where your work drives meaningful impact in a leading tech company at the intersection of healthcare. We take pride in our driven and results-focused culture, where ambitious individuals can push the boundaries of innovation and contribute to better outcomes for Australians.

Other benefits include

  • Gaining access to SAGED courses and more through the Greenhouse learning platform, fostering continuous growth and development.
  • Enjoying discounts with over 450 retailers through our Reward and Recognition platform.
  • The freedom of a full-time, work-from-home role.
  • Access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and select regional cities.
  • Mental health support through our wellbeing platform, Unmind.
  • A private health insurance discount through Medibank.
  • Up to 8 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Swag kits to celebrate key milestones in your journey with us.
  • Enhance your home office with our work from home equipment allowance benefit.
  • Being part of one of the fastest-growing industries in Australia, improving the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients.
