Mental Health Therapist – CBT-Focused Individual Therapy (Remote – NY State)

We are a virtual mental health therapy group dedicated to helping individuals overcome anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions through sustainable, evidence-based care. Our approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a goal-oriented, skills-based framework that fosters insight, resilience, and lasting change. We’re currently seeking a New York-licensed clinician to join our expanding team and provide individual video therapy services to adolescents and adults across the state. • Conduct individual video therapy sessions and initial assessments to determine clients’ needs.
• Provide a safe, confidential, and supportive space for clients navigating life’s challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
• Utilize structured, goal-oriented approaches to reduce symptoms and build coping skills.
• Support clients in recognizing and reframing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure effective outcomes.
• Treat a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and relationship issues.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA and ICD-10 standards.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and participate in supervision (if required).

Skills

• Doctoral or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work (LMSW/LCSW), Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), or Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT).
• Current, active New York State license to practice therapy independently or under supervision.
• Solid understanding and clinical application of CBT in individual therapy settings.
• Experience or comfort working with adolescents through adulthood.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and therapeutic rapport.
• Comfortable providing teletherapy via secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms.
• Organized, self-motivated, and committed to client-centered care.
