We partner with leading universities and other organizations to design and deliver learning experiences that equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to make a difference. The Role We’re seeking a Project Manager: Online Conservation Education who combines strong conservation expertise with a passion for online teaching and learning. This role will contribute directly to an ambitious new initiative on conservation education. • Stay current with best practices in online education and digital pedagogy.

  • Interdisciplinary conservation expertise — strong grounding in conservation science, policy, politics, and/or management.
  • Teaching and learning design experience — experience developing lessons, projects, or assignments that engage learners, ideally online.
  • Project management skills — ability to track multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Professional conservation network — active connections to conservation experts, especially in the public or NGO sectors.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, particularly with public audiences.

  • Familiarity with learning platforms such as Canvas and Articulate Rise 360.
  • Strong design instincts and attention to visual quality in online education.
  • Experience teaching adults/professionals
  • Experience writing for diverse audiences or translating complex concepts into clear, engaging content, such as multimedia journalism.

Compensation

This role will begin as a part-time contract (~10 hours/week) for the first three months at $1,800–$3,000/month commensurate with experience. Beginning in Q1 2026, the position will have the opportunity to become full-time. To Apply Please fill out the Google Form. We will ask for:

  • A few short answers that demonstrate alignment with the role
  • Resume
  • Work sample that demonstrates your ability to design or communicate educational or conservation content

Important No AI-Generated Applications Do not use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, etc.) to write or edit your application. We would much rather see a few grammatical errors and true voice than the blandness of AI-generated prose. Applications detected as AI-written will be automatically rejected. If selected for the role, you’ll have opportunities to use AI tools — thoughtfully and transparently — as part of the work. But for now, we’re looking for your own authentic voice. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
