Student Ministries Director
Job Summary The Student Ministries Director is responsible for all middle and high school ministry across all Epic locations; providing vision, strategy, teaching, and leadership while developing a passionate team to equip and inspire students to follow Jesus fully and live on mission for him.
Responsibilities
- Build the student ministry for the future.
- Develop a model that works best in a city/multisite context.
- Connects to students who are not yet part of the church.
- Recruit, build, and develop the team.
- Pastor your team members and help them grow spiritually.
- Provide leadership, training, resources, and management to lead students well.
- Create ministries that connect to students.
- Provide spiritual leadership to students, both from you and your leaders.
- Teach scripture in a way that is true to the text and engaging and applicable to youth.
- Plan and execute events, gatherings, groups, and online content for students.
- Provide opportunities to equip, support, and connect to parents.
- And all the other fun stuff!
- Develop a communications plan to ensure everyone knows what they need to know.
- Measure what matters: maintain ministry metrics to track health and growth.
- Manage the Student Ministry budget.
- And of course, everyone’s favorite...other duties as assigned!
