Experienced Customer Service Representative – Retail Store Associate

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

• Greeting customers and providing a warm and welcoming experience
• Operating the register, handling cash and credit transactions, and making purchase suggestions
• Working with our food program to provide customers with a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience
• Maintaining store appearance and ensuring high standards are met
• Providing fast and friendly service to customers, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Interacting with customers daily, building relationships, and understanding their needs and preferences
• Collaborating with the team to achieve daily goals and objectives
• Participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
• Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and offer creative solutions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences
• Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals
• High school diploma or equivalent required; retail and customer service experience preferred

• Retail and customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a focus on driving sales and revenue growth
• Motivation to advance in your career, with a desire to learn and grow with blithequark
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations, with a positive and flexible attitude

Physical Requirements

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll need to be able to:

• Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
• Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
• Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
• Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
• Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
• Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination and occasional ladder climbing
