Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our remote customer service team. As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints and inquiries, and promoting our energy solutions. Responsibilities

As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering customer calls professionally and responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner
  • Focusing on customer retention and satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution
  • Providing customers with our service standards and ensuring that they understand our energy solutions
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues to high-level management for prompt resolution
  • Routing inbound calls to the appropriate resources to ensure efficient issue resolution
  • Following up on complicated customer calls to ensure that issues are resolved to the customer's satisfaction
  • Completing call notes and call reports as necessary and updating them in our CRM system
  • Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data to properly handle and document complaints and inquiries
  • Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual (a plus)
  • Some sales and customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication with proper grammar
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Some experience with MS Excel (a plus)
  • Ability to react effectively and calmly in escalated situations
  • Positive attitude and energy, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
