Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Advocate to join our team at blithequark. As a Customer Service Advocate for Claims and Appeals, you will play a vital role in responding to routine correspondence and telephone inquiries related to claims or appeals. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying incorrectly processed claims, completing adjustments, and taking related reprocessing actions. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to routine correspondence and telephone inquiries pertaining to claims or appeals in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify incorrectly processed claims and complete adjustments and related reprocessing actions to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and addressing concerns in a courteous and empathetic manner
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex claims and appeals issues, ensuring seamless communication and effective problem-solving
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and company policies to ensure compliance and adherence to best practices

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, claims, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support and resolution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
